Ethan Miller, a senior at Monte Vista High in California, took third in the East Bay Athletic League boys varsity cross country finals at Newhall Park in Concord. Miller covered the 3-mile layout in 15:27.4 to help Monte Vista place third overall with 80 points. Miller improved from securing seventh place at the championship race last year.
